Over the last three years, I have been concerned as I became more and more aware of changes in my son's well-being and behavior. Increasingly, the well adjusted, cheerful, responsible and kindly man was becoming short tempered and impossible to reason with. Now it is clear that was poisoning by toxic air.

 
I have been most concerned to witness my brother's obvious distress over the past 14 months and can testify that he was experiencing stress before the incident in 2004.

My brother  is a reliable person with a strong sense of fairness. He is a conscientious employee and devoted family man.

Frequent changes made to his roster at short notice have blurred the boundaries between these two separate areas of his life and undermined these defining qualities in his character.

I have always enjoyed excellent health - or rather I did, until shortly after I started flying pressurised aircraft for a living.

The first pressurised type that I flew was the BAe146. I noticed that the aircraft was quite smelly (the so-called 'dirty socks' smell) particularly in the mornings, but since it was clear that this was regarded by the more experienced crews as normal, I thought nothing more of it. To begin with, I remained in excellent health.
