Help us make flying safer... help us protect your health
Why should I donate to the Aerotoxic Association?
Aerotoxic Syndrome can affect anyone who flies. From the pilot to the regular business traveller to the family taking their annual holiday. It could be you, it could be your children, it could be one of your friends. What's more, it could ruin your health and your career. Just one flight is all it takes.
Government figures say that one in 100 flights are affected by contaminated air.
This is how it can happen...
- You get home from your flight feeling fine, though you felt a little woozy while on the plane.
- Some days later you feel exhausted - you're also dizzy, have a rash, you're breathing isn't too good, you have heart palpitations. Maybe it's a case of prolonged jet lag? Or maybe you picked up something while you were away?
- The symptoms carry on, you go to the doctor who says you have flu. A couple of months later you're still no better...you keep thinking about that woozy feeling you had on the flight home. Feeling worried you have a quick look on the internet and come across our website, aerotoxic.org...
You had no idea that flying could make you so ill. But at least now you can begin to understand what has happened to you and get the support and advice you've been looking for. At least something is being done to try to make sure others do not suffer like you have.
The Aerotoxic Association are the only organisation dedicated to supporting victims of Aerotoxic Syndrome:
- We offer advice on dealing with and treating the symptoms of Aerotoxic Syndrome.
- We provide information for health care professionals
- We actively campaign to get Aerotoxic Syndrome recognised medically - and by the Government and airlines.
- We actively campaign to get the airline industry to make flying safer and healthier for crew and passengers alike.
- We are run entirely by volunteers and we rely entirely on donations - we can't do it without you.
