Is cabin air toxic? - you decide

Captain John Hoyte, a Public Transport airline pilot flew bleed-air aircraft (BAe 146) from 1989 to 2005 and in that time saw a gradual decline of his health to the point where he was no longer able to continue flying.

On 22 May 2006 he made a statement about his ill health, and three years on has revisited the subject.

Look at the evidence and decide for yourself: Was Capt Hoyte's illness caused solely by the cabin air environment in the aircraft?

YES         or            NO
