•  In 2008, the UK shadow Transport Minister Theresa Villiers whilst in opposition published a press release demanding a full public enquiry and was concerned at ‘secret studies behind closed doors, putting airline crews and passengers at risk’. Click here to read the press release.
  

• Now in Government as Transport Minister she has changed her position dramatically to ‘the public can be assured that this matter has been thoroughly investigated’. Click here to see her position
  

• In 2007, an email from professional pilots offered to fill a BAe 146 airliner with visible oil fumes on the ground so that it could be tested. Incredibly, the levels of toxic chemicals in a fume event have yet to be published.

• Several new testimonies are being offered.  A recent testimony from a Flight Attendant describes a fume event and the effect on her and a plane full of 140 other flight crew and passengers.   Denial from industry doctors that the ill health was caused by oil fumes, cause further distress. It demonstrates how easy it is to manipulate the lone, ill and vulnerable.

• A letter from BALPA, the main UK pilot union, in which say that they prefer not to fund the Aerotoxic Association. BALPA members continue to be denied up to date information on research into oil fumes and solutions.
