New Aerotoxic Forum

We have just set up a new forum where you can air your views or ask questions on any aspects of Aerotoxic Syndrome. The forum is independent of  Aerotoxic Association membership, and so you can register anonymoulsly. So please visit, and make yourself heard!

The Aerotoxic Association website, www.aerotoxic.org has recently been refreshed and many previously unseen documents are now available.

  • Of particular interest is a downloadable ‘Health Protocol’ which has been written specifically for doctors by a leading American doctor to help them understand the mechanism and treatment of Aerotoxic Syndrome.

  • Aircrew and passengers can now log their fume event flights at a new web site www.toxicfreeairlines.com

  • A recently published BAE maintenance document which lists possible ill health symptoms which might be suffered whilst flying the BAe 146. e.g."Drunk’ ‘Intoxicated’ ‘Moonwalking’. BAE STILL maintains there is NO LINK !

Cranfield Testing

Cranfield University are presently testing BAe 146, B757 and A320 aircraft to ‘try’ and identify ‘any’ neurotoxic chemicals found in the cabins. Despite a call from the House of Lords for ‘urgent answers’ in November 2007 these results may not be available until late 2009 - a full 3 years after the Aerotoxic Association called for visible oil fumes often found in the cabin on the ground to be identified. Whilst the Government, airlines and BALPA are content with this time scale – the Aerotoxic Association sees it as a further delay in facing inconvenient facts and delaying known technical solutions. No doubt this will all be apparent – one day….

More Sick Aircrew and Passengers

Meanwhile, many aircrew and passengers continue to contact the Association and provide harrowing accounts of misdiagnosis, mistreatment and medical ignorance.  The Association is proud to have helped many people from all over the world identify the actual cause of their ill health. Read their recently published testimonies.

ROSPA on the Case

ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) have investigated the cabin air quality issue and have found overwhelming evidence of a systematic failure by the CAA and HSE in enforcing regulations. Part one of their two part article, in which the Aerotoxic Association feature is already availible on the website.

Thank you for your continued support to make flying safer - for everyone.
