On 9th March 2009 the Aerotoxic Association and GCAQE issued press releases renewing calls for a public enquiry into contaminated cabin air. Includes statements from the Labour Party, Professor Malcolm Hooper, AA scientific advisor and Dr Sarah Myhill, AA medical advisor.

On 9th March 2009 the Aerotoxic Association issued a UK press release. It urges wider recognition for Aerotoxic Syndrome sufferers and reiterates previous calls for a public enquiry into contaminated cabin air. Every MP and Lord in Great Britain has been sent a copy of the DVD “Welcome Aboard Toxic Airlines”. No members of Parliament can now say they are not aware of the problem.

Our colleagues at the GCAQE have also issued a press release and ask why, a year on from their last call for a public enquiry backed by the UK's three major opposition parties, no action has been taken.


Dr Myhill statement
Dr Sarah Myhill, Aerotoxic Association medical advisor comments on the press release. She says Aerotoxic Syndrome is entirely avoidable, if only the airline industry would clean up its act.


Professor Hooper statement
Professor Malcolm Hooper, Aerotoxic Association scientific adviser has also commented on the Aerotoxic Association press release and suggests a precautionary problem should be used to immediately tackle the problem.


Liberal Democrats: Toxic fumes in aircraft cabins put staff and passengers at risk
The Liberal Democrats released a statement on 9th March supporting a public enquiry.
